MEET THE COMPETITORS
Four nations. Four world-class teams. The International Fireworks Championship – Las Vegas brings together elite pyrotechnic artists from Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States to compete for championship glory.
Each team will showcase their country’s unique approach to fireworks artistry in a music-synchronized display that pushes the boundaries of explosive creativity.

Germany 🇩🇪
Designers
Timo Lüttmann & Daniel Schäffler
Timo and Daniel are two best friends who have loved fireworks since they were kids and knew each other from a national consumer fireworks competition in 2009. Their friendship and the passion for fireworks grew over the years, visiting many fireworks festivals all over Europe together and working in the industry for many years.
In 2022, they decided to establish their own company, ToF Feuerwerk, to follow their dreams of designing and shooting pyromusicals around the world
What’s one display you’re most proud of?
The winning show for the first International Fireworks Championship in Traverse City, MI in 2023.

Japan 🇯🇵
Designer
Kentaro Saito
Kentaro is a fifth-generation pyrotechnician with 28 years of professional experience who has taken over the family-owned company.
He has received numerous awards, including top honors at major fireworks competitions in Japan, notably Omagari National Hanabi Competition—the most prestigious in the country.
His international experience includes fireworks displays in Korea, as well as in Taiwan, Thailand, the Middle East, and Canada.

Iain Keightley
Iain started his fireworks career in 2011. Since then he has had the privilege working on a wide range of events from small scale private parties to international events including Bonfire Night Celebrations, Saudi National Day, and Cannes International Fireworks Competition.
Selstar Fireworks was established in 1995 and has always strived to the push the boundaries of show design and production.

Tyler Wiesmann & Joe Rozzi
Joe Rozzi may be the only salesman—pyro-designer hyphenate with as many years of experience as he does in the industry. With over 39 years of experience, his experience with pyrotechnic design and overall fireworks knowledge is unrivaled.
Since the age of 12 years old, designing shows has been in Tyler Wiesmann’s blood. With over 10 years of industry experience of show conception, logistics, technical skills, and artistry, he strives to create one-of-a-kind shows that leave audiences wanting more!
What’s one display you’re most proud of?
Both of us are most proud of Cincinnati’s WEBN Fireworks hosted every Sunday before Labor Day for now the 50th annual year.
